Who We Are

Pixel Ctrl Studios is an independent animation studio founded by Jake Lee. This studio was formed to create original content as well as create music video, concert content and adverts working with a range of companies. Their first project ‘Am I Dreaming?’ was an animated musical looking to emulate the glory days of animation. The film went on to win 8 awards and 15 selections in film festivals. Pixel Ctrl Studios will always animate it’s projects traditionally without the use of AI.

Jake Lee

Founder

Jake is the fonder of Pixel Ctrl Studios and an Animation Director. He has directed two award-winning short films for festivals. His most recent film ‘Am I Dreaming?’ is an animated musical with an original soundtrack composed by Lilianne Coeverden. Jake has won several awards for his work and aims to build Pixel Ctrl Studios to be a welcoming place for all people who want to work in the animation industry.
